- The organ in the Sint Laurentius Church in Betekom was built in 1770 by François Coppin. The organ was originally an organ with one manual and attached pedal of one octave. In the course of time it has been expanded with an independent pedal with three stops, and the stop list has also been altered. The organ stood against the balustrade. In 1942 Van de Loo moved the organ backwards, on the gallery. In 1956, under supervision of canon E. De Laet, a restoration was carried out by Gerard D'Hondt. A new independent pedal work was installed on a pneumatic chest.
- The disposition mentioned is from 1975. The pedal and the stops Salicional, Bourdon 16' and Voix Celeste are not original. The manual compass originally was CD-e''', this was later changed to C-g'''.
- The organ was reconstructed around 2005-2006 by the company Pels-d'Hondt.
