In 2014, the company Siegfried Sauer built a new organ for the Jakobikirche in Coesfeld. The instrument consists of a main organ and a choir organ that can be played from the central console, but also from the smaller console of the choir organ. During construction, some 20 registers were taken over from the church's previous organ, built by the Franz Breil firm. The organ was dedicated on November 22, 2014. It was played by Ulrich Grimpe, in collaboration with the Choralschola St. Lamberti conducted by Maximilian Krämer.
