- In 1902 the Möller firm built a new organ for the First Presbyterian Church in Austin, Texas. This organ, opus 263 by the firm, had 28 stops, two manuals and pedal. Clarence Eddy played the inaugurational concert of the organ on March 16, 1900.
- The instrument was radically rebuilt in 1958 by Otto Hoffmann. The disposition was altered to a more classical German baroque structure. In 1960 the organ was dismantled and stored in connection with the demolition of the old church.
- After the construction of a new church, the organ was rebuilt by Rubin Frels in the years 1975-1978. Frels built a largely new organ, in which a large part of the existing pipework was reused. The organ now had 29 stops. On November 12, 1978, the organ was reopened with a concert by James H. Cook.
- In 1997 the organ was restored by Roy Redman and expanded to 36 stops.
- The listed specification is from 1978.
