The organ contains older material: Organ case from 1877 by Gebrüder Rieger
In 2013/2014 the company Eule built a new organ for the Sofienberg Kirke in Oslo. The organ case of the previous organ was taken over. This instrument was built in 1877 by the company Gebr. Rieger. This organ had 15 stops on two manuals and pedal, but was extensively renovated and expanded in 1927 and 1953. The new organ is designed in the style of Friedrich Ladegast's organs. It was inaugurated on March 2, 2014 during a festive church service, followed by a concert by Daniel Roth.
