In 1860 W.B.D. Simmons an organ for Saint Ignatius Church in Baltimore. The instrument was converted in the years 1930-1940. New wind chests were made, a new free-standing console was installed and the mechanical action was replaced by electric. In 2010-2011 the organ was restored by the Murphy company. It has been partly converted and partly restored to the situation of 1860.
