• The Hey Orgelbau company built a new organ for the Sankt Thomaskirche in Trockau in 1975/1976. The instrument was dedicated on April 11, 1976. In 1993 the organ was overhauled and expanded with an electronic Setzer installation.
  
• The church building has been used as the Autobahnkirche since 2010.
