In 1958 werd een historisch Chamber Organ geplaatst in de kathedraal van Salisbury. Het instrument is in 1764 gebouwd door John Snetzler. De oorspronkelijke orgelkas was verloren gegaan. Lord Mottistone ontwierp een nieuw kas in klassieke stijl, die in 1961 is geplaatst. In 1981 is het instrument gerestaureerd door de firma Harrison & Harrison. Het staat opgesteld aan de noordoostzijde van de kerk.
