1927 Harrison & Harrison  new organ
1986 Hugo Spilker  modify stoplist

  • In 1927 the firm of Harrison & Harrison built an organ for the country house in Somerset, England. The instrument was donated to a school in British Columbia in 1938, where it was placed in the School Chapel. In 1975 the instrument was donated by the school to Christ Church Cathedral in Victoria. Here it is placed in Saint Christopher's Chapel.
  • Hugo Spilker worked on the organ in the years 1981-1986. The disposition has been altered. Four stops have been replaced by others: on Great the Rohr Flute 4' and the Flute 2' and on Swell the Principal 4' and the Nasard 2 2/3'. These 'new' stops are historical pipes by Giesecke and Bätz.
