- The Church of Saint-Charles in Limoilou was built in 1917-1920 and was designed by Joseph-Pierre Ouellet. In 1919 the Casavant company built an organ with three manuals and pedal. It was placed in the church in March 1920. Henri Gagnon played the opening concert on April 25, 1920. In 1945 the organ was modified. The organcase was arranged differently, so that the rose window became visible.
- Due to rising maintenance costs, the church has been closed after a final service on June 28, 2012. The building was sold to Machine de Cirque at the end of 2020. The organ was already dismantled by Casavant in 2014 and sold to Norway. The organ was installed in 2015 by Åkerman & Lund in Bergen in St. Pauls Kirke in Bergen. The only change was the installation of a modern electornic combination action. The organ case has been restored to its original undivided condition.
