- In the years 1863-1865 Wilhelm Blessing built a new organ for the Sankt Martinskirche in Inneringen. The instrument, placed in a neo-Gothic organ case, was built with mechanical action and cone chests. In the course of time the organ was modified by various organ builders. In the late 1970s there were even plans to replace it with a new instrument. Fortunately, that did not happen.
- Under the advice of Georg Koch, the organ was carefully restored by the company Vleugels in the years 2011-2012 and returned to its original state. On December 16, 2012, Georg Koch played the rededicational concert.
