The organ in the Dionysius-Kirche in Erfurt-Möbisburg was built in 1780 by Johann Michael Hesse. Changes have been made over time. Among other things, the Trompete 8' of the Manual has been replaced by a Principal 8', and the Posaune 16' of the Pedal has been replaced by a Choralbaß 4'. In 1993, Martin Haspelmath started restoration work. After his death in 1996, the restoration was completed by Karl-Heinz Schönefeld.
