- The first building of the Brændkjærkirken in Kolding was built in 1965-1966 and opened on April 24, 1966. The current church was built in 1970-1971. This church was consecrated on April 4, 1971. The firm Marcussen & Søn built the organ for this new church, a three manual instrument with 28 stops. The instrument has been dedicated in 1975.
- The organ was renovated in 2018. An electronic combination system from the company Laukhuff was installed. The Scharf was replaced by a Vox Celeste. Finally, an electrical coupler has been installed between Positiv and Brystværk.
