- In 1983 the Klais company built a new organ for the Matthiaskirche in Düsseldorf-Lichtenbroich. It is a two-manual instrument with eleven stops. The church building dates from 1977.
- The church was closed on August 24, 2014 after a last celebration. The organ has been put up for sale. The church is currently in use by the Wesley Methodist Church, a concregation that does not use pipe organs during their services.
