Pieter Van Peteghem built an organ for the Sint Gillis Church in Lembeke in 1780. The organ case was designed by Emmanuel van Speybroeck. Charles Anneessens overhauled the organ in 1865. He replaced two 'little screaming ranks' with a Flûte Harmonique 8'. Joseph Deprez made repairs in 1894. He renewed the Montre 8'. The organ was converted in 1912 by the Reygaert Brothers. A restoration was carried out in 1995 by Loncke Orgelbouw.
