- Antoine Gobert, organ maker in Lille, built an organ for the abbey church in Maroilles, starting in 1725. The assignment was to build a four-manual organ with 39 stops. This organ was transferred to the Église Saint-Humbert in 1789, after the abbey was closed. The abbey was later demolished.
- Joseph Kerkhoff carried out a restoration in 1867. He did make some contemporary changes, such as placing a swell box around the echo work, but largely left the organ in its original state. During a major restoration in the years 1931-1933 by the Krischer company, the organ was radically modified and the stoplist was modernized. Théo Haerpfer was able to carry out a partial reconstruction in 1979-1980.
