In 1961 the company Kreienbrink built an organ for the Sankt Peterkirche in Düsseldorf. In 1982 the original organ balustrade was reconstructed, after which Kreienbrink placed the Rückpositiv as Kronwerk above the organ, and the original Kronwerk as Oberwerk. In 2000 the organ was demolished and replaced by an instrument by Göckel.
