Built by: Louis Georgel (1958)
Demolished (2017)

  • In 1958, Louis Georgel built a two-manual organ with thirty-five registers (including nineteen transmissions) for the Église Saint-Martin. It replaced an 18th century historic organ from the Église Saint-Léger in Masevaux, that was installed in 1848 in the completely renovated church of Grandvillars. However, this organ had suffered greatly from acts of war on November 18 and 19, 1944. Although a restoration must have been possible, the instrument was completely demolished and replaced by a new organ.
  • Georgel's organ was financed from a war damage repair fund. It is built relatively cheaply and with many transmissions. In order to once again obtain an organ in the church that fits the historic church building, it has been decided to have a completely new organ built. The old instrument was demolished and sold in 2017. A new organ was installed in the church in 2018.
