In 1992 the Reinhart Tzschöckel company installed a new altar organ in Ulm Cathedral. The instrument was placed on a mobile platform. Consultant was Edgar Rabsch. A special feature of the organ is that the second manual is built as a portative, which can also be played separately. It has its own wind supply. There are two registers on the second manual, which cannot be used simultaneously.
