- In 1785 Johann Daniel Schulze built an organ for the church of Oberweißbach. The instrument was completely renewed in 1894 by Gebr. Strobel from Frankenhausen. The traction was applied pneumatically, new cone chests were installed and the specification was completely adapted to the taste of the time.
- In 1991 the organ was restored by Rösel & Hercher. The stoplist has been modified by this occasion.
