In 1885/1886 bouwde de firma Warren & Sons uit Toronto een nieuw orgel voor de Methodistenkerk in Montreal. Het orgel werd ontworpen door de organist Frederic Archer, die ook het ingebruiknameconcert verzorgde. Het orgel werd in mei of juni 1886 opgeleverd.
