- In 1997 André Thomas built a choir organ for the Basilica in Tongeren. The instrument was built under the advice of Luc Ponet, who also played the inaugurational concert on June 14, 1997.
- The organ was sold in 2010 and was transferred by Dominique Thomas to the Onze Lieve Vrouw ten Hemelopnemingkerk in Zutendaal. On May 5, 2010, the organ was inaugurated here with a concert by Luc Ponet in collaboration with trumpeters Manu Mellaerts and Chafer Mompo.
