The organ contains older material: Organ Case from 1753 by Anton Josef Römer
In 2008-2009 Thomas Jann built a new organ for the Stadtpfarrkirche in Fürstenfeld in Styria. The instrument was inaugurated on June 21, 2009 with a concert by Josef Hofer. The organ is built in a historic organ case, which was constructed in 1752-1753 by Anton Josef Römer for a new organ with eighteen stops. This instrument was destroyed in 1945, and only the case has survived. Some older pipework was used in the construction of the new Jann organ.
