Built by: Mathis Orgelbau (1984)
The organ contains older material: Organ case from 1740 by Jakob Rychener
In 1984 Mathis built a new organ for the Evangelical Mauritius Church in Saanen. A baroque organ case was used in its construction, which was built in 1740 by Jakob Rychener for the church of Lenzbourg. Because the organ could not be financed, it was placed in the Seekirche in La Neuveville in 1746. Over time, the organ has been extensively renovated. In 1972 it was sold to the company Mathis, who stored the case. It was then used in 1984 to build a new organ for the Mauritiuskirche in Saanen.
