In 1856-1857 Jean-Baptiste Dufossez built an organ for the Saint-Martin in Templeuve. After an extension of the church building in 1882, the organ was re-installed unchanged. A restoration followed by the Neuville brothers in 1891. In World War I, German soldiers took the prospect pipes with them as war metal. These were replaced in 1932 with new ones by Antoine Sequiès. After the Second World War, the organ fell into disrepair. In 1989 it was decided to restore it. It was now relocated to the church floor. The old neo-Gothic crowns of the facade had disappeared and have been reconstructed in a much simplified form. The restoration was carried out by Bernard Cogez in the years 1992-1996. On October 20, 1996 the organ was put back into use.
