1893 Gebrüder Dinse  new organ
1963 E.F. Walcker & Cie.4167 new organ

  • The Neue Nazarethkirche in Berlin-Wedding was built in the years 1891-1893 and was designed by Max Spitta in neo-Gothic style. The building replaced the old Nazarethkirche, which had become too small. The old church was converted into a Gemeindehaus in 1906. The new church was opened on March 10, 1893. The Buchholz organ (1835) from the old church was not large enough and therefore it was not transferred to the new church. The Gebr. Dinse delivered a new organ for the new church with 32 stops.
  • The church was damaged in 1944, but the building could remain in use. The interior was simplified in 1960. The company Walcker installed a new organ in 1963. This instrument has 35 stops, but not all of them were already installed when the organ was dedicated.
  • In 1989 the church was no longer in use, due to the declining of the church attendance. In 1991 the Evangelical-Freikirchliche Gemeinde Gottes started their services in the old building. In 2003 the interior was partially restored to its original state. The Walcker organ was put up for sale in 2017, and was sold in 2021 to a church in Poland.
