In 1891 Merklin built a main and a choir organ for the Basilique de Valenciennes. Both organs were also linked together, so that they can be played from the console of the main organ. The choir organ was restored in the years 1989-1995 by organists Bruno Strangis and Yves Yollant in collaboration with the company Delmotte.
