  • The organ in the Saint-Nicolas church in Arleux dates from 1745. The maker is unknown. It was built for the chapel of the Couvent des Récollets-Wallons in Douai. In 1797 it was transferred to the church of Arleux by Michel Merlin.
  • It was restored by François Carlier in 1840/1841. Jean-Justin de Coudenhove revised the instrument in 1899. The organ was seriously damaged when the church building was partly destroyed in 1917 during the First World War. It was restored in 1999-2000 by Bernard Aubertin.
