- In 1977 Peter Collins built a concert organ for the University of Southampton. It was located in the Turner Sims Concert Hall. Consultant for the project was Peter Evans. The organ was inaugurated with a concert by Piet Kee. In 1995, the organ was damaged by water. It has been completely renovated, in 1996, again built by Collins. A modern setzer combination system was installed in this occasion. However, the instrument was not rebuilt in the Hall, but stayed in storage.
- After a restoration by Cousans Organs the instrument has been rebuilt in the Church of Saint Barthelomew in Orford, East Suffolk. It was donated by the university to the parish. On Easter Sunday, April 21, 2019, the organ has been dedicated.
