  • In 1940, the Church of Saint Mary Aldermanbury in London was badly damaged by bombing. The ruins of the building remained in central London for a long time without a roof, and in a dilapidated state. Eventually in 1965, the church was dismantled stone by stone and rebuilt at Westminster College in Fulton, Missouri, where it was commissioned on May 7, 1969. The building has been given a function within the Winston Churchill Memorial Center.
  • The Mander company built a new organ for the church. The organ case and some of the pipework have been taken from the old organ of the Roman Catholic Church of Saint Patrick on Griffin Road in Plumstead. The organ of this church was originally built in 1741 for Woolwich Parish Church in Kent by Abraham Jordan. George Pike England later (around 1770) rebuilt the instrument. It was transferred to the newly built church in Plumstead in 1893. Jordan's organ case is adorned with a crown and two mitres from the old organ of All Hallows-the-Great Church in London.
