The Anglican Cathedral in Kampala was dedicated on June 21, 1904. However, the building burned to the ground as a result of a lightning strike on September 23, 1910. The rebuilt church was ready for use on September 14, 1919. There is a pipe organ in the church, built by Peter Wells. The year of construction is unknown, but it was probably placed around the time of the church's construction.
