The organ contains older material: Organ case from ca. 1780 by Gebrüder Wagner
The organ in the church of Friedrichsroda was built in 1961 by the Jehmlich company. The organ case dates from around 1780. It was made for an organ by the Wagner brothers. Nothing has been preserved of the old instrument, except this case. In 2011 the organ was overhauled and revoiced by Bernhard Kutter.
