The organ in First Congregational Church in Sandusky is a Johnson & Son instrument from 1875. It was originally built for Saint Paul's Episcopal Church in Marquette, Michigan. In 1908 it was transferred to Saint Ignatius Church in Houghton, Michigan. It served here until 1976, when James Kvale bought it for his home in Long Prairie, Minnesota. After a restoration by J.C. Taylor installed the instrument in 1982 in Sandusky.
