In 1880 Jakob Forrell placed a second-hand organ in the Evangelische Kirche in Mengen. This was probably the Seuffert-Stieffell organ from 1784 from the church of Ulm near Oberkirch. Forrell fully took over the metal pipework. He placed the pedal pipework on a new cone chest. Muhleisen carried out a restoration in 1964-1965. In addition, the Principal 8' has been replaced by a Trompete and the Gamba of Forrell by a Terz. The organ was overhauled by Georges Heintz in 2005.
