Built by: Veikko Virtanen (1969)
In 1935, the Rieger company built a large organ with four manuals and 73 stops for the Mikael Agricolan Kirkon in Helsinki. However, because the organ malfunctioned technically, it was demolished in 1965. Veikko Virtanen completed a new three-manual instrument with 42 stops in 1969. The new organ was overhauled in 2005 by the Paschen company. The prospect was modified, the reeds have been partially renewed and the mechanics have been re-adjusted.
