- The organ in the Schloßkirche in Erxleben was built in 1710 by Heinrich Herbst der Jüngere. Parts may have been built around 1680, by Gottfried Herbst. The organ waas modified drastically over time. In particular, many filling stops and high aliquots were replaced. In 1941-1942 the Kemper company carried out a restoration. Under the advice of Herbert Schulze, the original stop list has been reconstructed, supplemented with some extra stops, particularly on the second manual.
- Fundraising for a new restoration started in 2017. The stops of the Hinterwerk will again be slightly modified. Terzian and Vox Humana are then replaced by a Bassoon 16'.
