Built by: Carl August Witzmann (1867)
August Witzmann built an organ for the church of Remda in 1867. There are indications that the organ may be older or have older parts. In 1917 the prospect pipes were removed, but they had never been replaced. In the years 2009-2013, Karl-Heinz Schönefeld carried out a restoration. Schönefeld installed new prospect pipes. Both reeds (which were not present anymore) have been reconstructed. On October 31, 2013 the organ was festively inaugurated with a concert by Karen McKinney.
