Friedrich Nikolaus Jahn built an organ for the Schlosskirche in Waldheim in 1845. The instrument was disassembled and stored in 1987. In 1989 it was rebuilt in the Lutherkirche in Meißen, a church from 1904. The organ was dedicated in Meißen on October 8, 1989. The organ was restored and relocated by Johannes Lindner. It was installed in the organ case of the previous organ of the Lutherkirche, built by Jehmlich. The former 'Hinterwerk' was re-installed as an 'Oberwerk'.
