In 1865 Adolf Reubke built an organ for the Sankt Nicolaikirche in Burg. In 1901 Sauer completed an almost new organ behind the facade of Reubke. It was modified in 1957 by Andreas Schuster & Sohn. In 1991 the organ was restored by the company Groß & Soldan. The listed stop list is from before this restoration.
