  • The Palau de la Música Catalana in Barcelona was opened on February 9, 1908. The building was designed in Jugendstil by Lluis Domènech. A large organ has been placed in the large concert hall by the Walcker firm, opus 1353 of the firm. The fourth manual was intended for a Fernwerk, but that was not placed. The console was equipped with an Organola, so that the organ could be played with paper rolls. On the advice of Albert Schweitzer, the pneumatic traction was electrified in 1915. The organ was renovated in 1973. A new three-manual console was installed, and the Organola was not reinstalled. In 1982 the reserved space for the Fernwerk was released for other purposes.
  • In 1997 the organ was dismantled. After a restoration by Gerhard Grenzing in 2002-2003 in collaboration with Christian Scheffler, it has been rebuilt. The original specification was reconstructed, the Fernwerk now being placed, and the Organola was rebuilt in a modern version. The console has been reconstructed on the basis of old photos. The action has remained electro-pneumatic, with a modern combination system.
