  • In 1887 the Jehmlich company built an organ for the Martin-Luther-Kirche in Dresden-Neustadt (then also called Antonstadt). This church was built in the years 1883-1887 in a mixture of neo-gothic and neo-Romanesque style with an 81 meter high tower. The organ built by Jehmlich had mechanical action with cone chests. On December 15, 1887 it was examined by prof.dr. Langer and C.A. Fischer, music director.
  • In 1902 the instrument was converted to pneumatic action and expanded with a third manual. The front pipes had to be returned in 1917. These were renewed in 1920. The organ was completely renovated in 1937. The old front was replaced by a modern front with free-standing pipes. The church was not damaged in the war. A subsequent conversion of the organ was carried out in 1972/1973, when the stop list was changed to a more baroque style.
