• The organ of the Sint Eligiuskerk in Kruishoutem was built by the company Verschueren. The organ case was taken over from the previous organ of the church, built in 1753 by Petrus Van Peteghem. The organ case was bought from the Adbijkerk Sint Adriaan in Geraardsbergen. This organ had one manual with ten stops. In 1839 it was expanded with an independent pedal with a Bourdon 16'.
  
• The new organ was dedicated on August 1, 1948. Consultant was Gabriel Verschraegen. The organ was played during the ceremony by the parish organist Rik Van Rechem, followed by a concert by Gabriël Verschraegen, Rik Van Rechem and Flor Peeters.
