  • On May 11, 1968, a new organ was inaugurated in the Merton College Chapel in Oxford, with a recital by John Webster. The instrument was built by Walker & Sons and could be constructed thanks to a donation from Angus W. Acworth. Cecil Clutton was involved in the construction as consultant and Robert Potter designed the organ case in classic style.
  • A few years later the organ was expanded with a Dutch Trumpet on Great on its own wind chest with electric action.
