The organ contains older material: Organ case from 1867 by Johann Nepomuk Kiene
A new church was built in Schruns in the years 1865-1867. It replaced an older Baroque church. Johann Nepomuk Kiene built a new organ with eighteen stops for the new church. The organ case was made by Johann Muther. The organ itself was replaced in 1900 by a new pneumatic instrument by the Gebrüder Mayer from Feldkirch with twenty-five registers. This has been renovated and modified several times. In 1988 the Martin Pflüger built a new mechanical organ with 41 stops on three manuals and pedal. Muther's case is the only thing that still reminds of Kiene's organ.
