In de kapel van Saint James' Palace plaatste Hill, Norman & Beard in 1925 een nieuw orgel. Rond 1965 voerde John Norman een herintonatie uit, waardoor het orgel helderder ging klinken. In 1980/1981 is het door Noel Mander gerestaureerd. De dispositie werd gewijzigd, enkele nieuwe registers werden geplaatst en ook is er aan de klank gesleuteld.
