The organ that Eilert Köhler built in 1740 for the Kreuzkirche in Suhl is one of the builder's most important instruments. It was in an unplayable condition for a long time, but was completely restored by the Schuke company in 2006/2007. On May 23, 2007, the organ was inaugurated again.
