The organ contains older material: Organ case from 1740 by Kaspar Mitterreither
In 1740 Kaspar Mitterreither built a new organ for the parish church of Anger. The instrument had two manuals and pedal with a total of eighteen registers. The organ present in the church, built by Andreas Schwarz in 1710, was transferred to the Nothelferkirche on the cemetary. In 1911 Konrad Hopferwieser installed a new pneumatic organ in the old organ case. This was rebuilt and modified in 1954 by Dreher & Reinisch. In 1982 this organ was demolished and replaced by an organ with 22 stops by Georg Jann. The prospect of Mitterreither has been preserved.
