  • In 1928-1929 John Abbey built a new choir organ for the Cathédrale van Noyon, after the old organ, built by Grégoire Schmersheim in 1704, was lost due to war. The new organ was built in a classically designed organ case, with electropneumatic action and cone loading. Henri Mulet played the inauguration concert.
  • In 1952, the organ was restored and modified by Beuchet-Debierre. Michel Garnier carried out a major renovation in 1989. In fact, he rebuilt the organ with a new disposition in the Abbey case using much of the existing pipework.
