- Wilhelm Sauer built a large two-manual organ for the Trinity Church in Hainichen in 1899. It has not been completely preserved in its original state. In 1953 Richard Schmeisser worked on the organ, during which several registers were converted into higher ranks.
- In 2006, a campaign started to raise funds for a thorough restoration. The organ is said to be the largest two-manual organ that Sauer built.
