The organ in the church of Saint Peter at Belper was built in 1853 by William Holt and was expanded in 1873 by Radcliffe & Sagar. The organ was in poor condition for a long time. A group of volunteers undertook a restoration, which concluded on September 20, 1979 with a concert on the organ by Francis Jackson. In 1992 the organ was revised and expanded by Peter Wood.
