Alavuden Kirkko in Alavus was built in 1913-1914 to a design by Kauno S. Kallio. Under the advice of Pentti Pelto, Hans Heinrich built a three-manual organ for the church in 1969-1970. Pelto also designed the facade. The organ was dedicated on March 22, 1970, and was officially inaugurated on March 28, 1970 with a concert by Asko Rautioaho. The organ was renovated in 2007 by Jouko Pirkkanen. The swell box has been improved and the voicing has been revised.
